Effect of Dex on the expression of cleaved-caspases 3, 9, BAX, and Bcl-2 in A549 cells. A549 cells were treated with 500 μM H₂O₂ for 24 hours. Cohort cultures received 1 nM Dex together with or without 10 nM atipamezole for 15 minutes and then treated with H₂O₂ for additional 24 hours.
