Effects of Dex on H₂O₂-induced collapse in A549 cells. (a) was measured by flow cytometry under FL1 (FITC) and FL2 (PE) channel after being stained with JC-1. The cells in gating areas with low ratio of red/green fluorescence intensity indicated cells with low ; (b) ratio of fluorescence intensity of JC-1 (red/green), assessed by flow cytometry. , ; ; (c) A549 cells were staining with JC-1 and nuclei were counterstained with DAPI. The cells were examined with microscope under rhodamine (red), fluorescein (green), and cyan (blue) spectral filters. The figures are merged from the three colors.
