Naphthoquinone Derivative PPE8 Induces Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress in p53 Null H1299 Cells

(a) Structures of PPE8, (b) A549, and H1299 cells were incubated without or with indicated concentrations of vitamin K₃ or (c) PPE8 for 24 h. The cell viability was examined by MTS assay and expressed relative to viability of the untreated cells (100% control value). Similar results were obtained in three independent experiments. Results were expressed as the mean ± SD.
