Hydrogen Sulfide Donor GYY4137 Protects against Myocardial Fibrosis

Effect of GYY4137 on α-SMA expression in cardiac fibroblasts. Neonatal rat cardiac fibroblasts were pretreated with different concentrations of GYY4137 for 4 h followed by Ang II (10−7 M) stimulation for an additional 24 h. Cellular α-SMA was visualized using Alexa Fluor 488 conjugated IgG by immunofluorescence staining. The nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (scale bar: 100 μm).
