Effects of Nrf2-siRNA transfection on Lico A-induced HO-1 protein expression in RAW 264.7 cells. (a) Nrf2-siRNA or Nrf2-negative control siRNA was transfected into cells for 24 h and was collected; proteins were detected by Western blot analysis. (c) Nrf2 mediates Lico A-induced HO-1 protein expression. Nrf2-siRNA or Nrf2-negative control siRNA were transfected into cells for 6 h and then were treated with Lico A (3.7 μM) for 18 h. (b and d) The relative density of protein was performed by densitometric analysis and β-actin acted as an internal control. All results were expressed as means ± SEM of three independent experiments. versus the control group; ++ versus the Lico A group.
