Lico A Enhances Nrf2-Mediated Defense Mechanisms against t-BHP-Induced Oxidative Stress and Cell Death via Akt and ERK Activation in RAW 264.7 Cells

Effects of Lico A-induced Akt and ERK pathway activation on t-BHP-induced cytotoxicity in RAW 264.7 cells. Cells were pretreated with or without LY294002 (20 μM), U0126 (10 μM), SB203580 (10 μM), SP600125 (40 μM), and SnPP (40 μM), respectively, for 6 h and treated with Lico A for 18 h. Then, cells were exposed to t-BHP (10 μM) for 10 h. Cell viability after t-BHP exposure was measured by MTT assay. All results were expressed as means ± SEM of three independent experiments. versus the control group; ## versus the t-BHP group; ++ versus the Lico A (3.7 μM) + t-BHP group.
