Effect of Myricetin, Pyrogallol, and Phloroglucinol on Yeast Resistance to Oxidative Stress

Yeast cells were grown to the exponential phase in YPD medium, pretreated with compounds (300 μM) or equal volume of DMSO (control) for 15 min, and subsequently treated with 1.5 mM H2O2 for 1 h. Viability is expressed as the percentage of the CFU. Values are mean ± SEM of at least 3 independent assays. Values were compared by one-way ANOVA, Dunnett’s multiple comparisons test ().
