Antioxidant-Enhancing Property of the Polar Fraction of Mangosteen Pericarp Extract and Evaluation of Its Safety in Humans

<div>Quantitative analysis of antioxidant activity of ME. DPPH assay was performed on the extract of band A (ME-band A) from TLC. Vitamin C was used as a positive control for comparison. Antioxidant activities (% scavenging) of both ME and vitamin C, calculated as described in Materials and Methods, were dose-dependent.
