Hydrogen Sulfide Protects against Chronic Unpredictable Mild Stress-Induced Oxidative Stress in Hippocampus by Upregulation of BDNF-TrkB Pathway
Effect of H2S on the SOD activity and GSH level in the hippocampus of CUMS-exposed rats. Rats were exposed to CUMS for 2 w and then cotreated with NaHS (0.03 or 0.1 mmol/kg/day, i.p.) and CUMS for 2 w. The SOD activity (a) and GSH level (b) in the hippocampus of rats were detected by ELISA kit. Values are expressed as mean ± SEM (–5/group). , versus the control group, , versus the CUMS-treated alone group.
