SOD1 Overexpression Preserves Baroreflex Control of Heart Rate with an Increase of Aortic Depressor Nerve Function

There were no significant differences in baseline heart rate (HR) and mean arterial pressure (MAP) between C57 and SOD1 mice. Depression in arterial pressure following exposure to SNP, or increase in arterial pressure after PE infusion, was also similar between the two groups of animals.
