DNA damage mediated autophagy in response to Cuc B. Cells were treated with KU55933 (10 μM) or caffeine (10 μM) for 2 h followed by cotreatment with Cuc B for 6 h and the expression of proteins (a–c) was detected by Western blot. Cells were pretreated with 3-MA (2.5 mM) or CQ (10 μM) for 2 h and then cotreated with Cuc B for 6 h and the protein expression and DNA damage were detected by Western blot (d and e) and comet assay (10) (f), respectively.
