8-OHdG and F2-isoprostanes were logged transformed for analysis. All analyses were adjusted for research site. Results are reported as standardized regression coefficients. Analyses on 8-OHdG were adjusted for age, sex, cotinine, and fasting. Analyses on F2-isoprostanes were adjusted for age, sex, education, cotinine, alcohol use, supplement use, season of sample collection, and fasting. Triglycerides, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, fasting glucose, systolic and diastolic blood pressure were all adjusted for use of lipid, cholesterol, and glucose or blood pressure lowering medication. HDL: high-density lipoprotein; LDL: low-density lipoprotein; : number; MetS: metabolic syndrome. |
