<div>Immunofluorescence staining of occludin (in red) in control and in S1P (200 ng/mL) and suramin (50 <i>μ</i>M)-treated IPEC-J2 cells after 48 hr treatment. Occludin can be seen in red and cell nuclei were stained with DAPI in blue. S1P-induced more intensive occludin staining in cell membranes, which was indicated by white arrows.
