Red Yeast Rice Protects Circulating Bone Marrow-Derived Proangiogenic Cells against High-Glucose-Induced Senescence and Oxidative Stress: The Role of Heme Oxygenase-1

<div>HO-1 siRNA inhibits RYR extract-induced HO-1 protein expression. PACs were transfected with HO-1 siRNA or control siRNA and then stimulated with RYR extract (50 <i>μ</i>g/ml). Cell lysates were subjected to Western blotting to determine levels of HO-1 and <i>β-</i>actin.
