Rhinacanthin C Alleviates Amyloid-β Fibrils’ Toxicity on Neurons and Attenuates Neuroinflammation Triggered by LPS, Amyloid-β, and Interferon-γ in Glial Cells

RC decreases proinflammatory cytokine production in Aβ- and IFN-γ-stimulated microglia. BV-2 cells were exposed to Aβ (20 μM) or IFN-γ (100 pg/mL) for 48 h following the pretreatment of RC (0.125–0.5 μM) for 1 h. Cell supernatants were collected for IL-6 (a), TNF-α (b), and CCL-5 (c) measurements by ELISA. All values are expressed as mean ± SEM ().
