CEN increases expression of autophagic marker LC3-II. Western blot analysis of LC3-I/LC3-II expression in Caco-2 (a) and SAOs (b) cells treated for 168 h with NE and CEN (400 μg/ml for Caco-2 and 200 μg/ml for SAOs). Blots are representative of one out of three separate experiments performed. Densitometric analysis (numbers between panels) is expressed as the ratio between LC3-II and α-tubulin band intensities.
