MitoTEMPO Prevents Oxalate Induced Injury in NRK-52E Cells via Inhibiting Mitochondrial Dysfunction and Modulating Oxidative Stress

Mito increases ATP levels in the oxalate induced cultured NRK52E cells. NRK-52E cells were stimulated with oxalate (700 μM) for 3 hours with or without preincubation with MitoTEMPO for 1 hour. Oxalate treatment decreased ATP levels significantly. ATP levels in MitoTEMPO pretreatment group significantly increased compared with oxalate treatment group and still was lower compared with control group. versus control; versus oxalate treated group (: MitoTEMPO).
