Mulberry Anthocyanin Extract Ameliorates Oxidative Damage in HepG2 Cells and Prolongs the Lifespan of Caenorhabditis elegans through MAPK and Nrf2 Pathways

MAE reduced H2O2-induced intracellular ROS and O2− levels in HepG2 cells. Cells with different treatments were incubated with H2DCFDA or DHE for (a) ROS and (b) O2− analysis. The results are shown as representative microscopic scans: (A) control, (B) cells induced by H2O2 (300 μM, 4 h), (C) GSH (1 mM), and (D) MAE (100 μg/mL). The quantitative analysis of fluorescence from three independent replicates was used by the Image-Pro Plus 6.0 software.
