Imbalance in CuSO₄-induced proteostasis is attenuated by resveratrol. The protein load index (PLI), used as a measure of cellular protein accumulation, was calculated as the ratio between total protein content and cell number for each condition at different time points after CuSO₄ treatment (0, 24, 48, and 72 h). PLI values were normalized to the initial time point (0 h), and the relative values are plotted for the indicated conditions. Data are presented as means ± SEM of at least three independent experiments. , when compared to control cells in the absence of resveratrol; and , relative to CuSO₄-treated cells without resveratrol, at the respective time points.
