Vitamin D Receptor Activation Influences NADPH Oxidase (NOX<sub>2</sub>) Activity and Protects against Neurological Deficits and Apoptosis in a Rat Model of Traumatic Brain Injury

<div>The effect of calcitriol on cleaved caspase-3 and Bcl-2 protein expression. Western blot was performed to detect the expression of cleaved caspase-3 and Bcl-2 at 1, 3, and 7 days in TBI or sham-operated rats.
