Downregulation of dynamics genes in AD brains. (a)-(b) Analysis of microarray expression in two independent data sets of genes involved in mitochondrial fission (a) and fusion (b). Graphs show dot plots of the expression of the indicated genes using in upper row samples from 84 patients, of which are healthy subjects and are AD patients retrieved from Berchtold data set [29] and in lower row controls and AD brain samples from the Hisayama study data set [30]. Correspondent value was determined by Student’s t-test and is showed for each graph.
