Antroquinonol Exerts Immunosuppressive Effect on CD8+ T Cell Proliferation and Activation to Resist Depigmentation Induced by H2O2

Antroquinonol attenuated infiltration of CD8+ T cells induced by H2O2. Skin sections were examined with immunofluorescence staining for CD8+ T cells. The cell surface markers, CD8, was identified in the left column of the figure. Middle column was detected for nucleus counterstaining with DAPI. Right column was merged image. The control group showed only few CD8+ T cell infiltration. Similarly, a few of CD8+ T cells were observed in the antroquinonol/H2O2 group. Whereas numerous CD8+ T cells infiltrated in the skin of the H2O2 group. Scale bar = 100 μm.
