Metabolic Syndrome Exacerbates the Recognition Memory Impairment and Oxidative-Inflammatory Response in Rats with an Intrahippocampal Injection of Amyloid Beta 1–42

<div>Effect of the injection of A<i>β</i><sub>1–42</sub> into the hippocampus of rats with HCD-induced MS on neuronal inflammation. A<i>β</i><sub>1–42</sub> in the hippocampus of HCD-fed rats increases the number of GFAP-positive cells in the TCx and the hippocampus (a–c). The mean of data ± SE is plotted.
