Kaempferol attenuated the apoptosis of retinal cells in sodium iodate injected SD rats. The frozen sections were used for TUNEL staining to detect the apoptosis of retinal cells, and the nucleus was stained by DAPI. Experimental groups were (a) normal control; (b) solvent control; (c) NaIO₃ injection model; (d) kaempferol pretreatment before NaIO₃ injection. Scale bar is 500 μm.
