<i>Anacardium microcarpum</i> Promotes Neuroprotection Dependently of AKT and ERK Phosphorylation but Does Not Prevent Mitochondrial Damage by 6-OHDA

<div>O<sub>2</sub> flux measured in the mitochondria of cortex homogenate exposed to 6-OHDA and/or <i>A. microcarpum.</i> Mitochondrial function is presented with the abbreviation(s) of the complex(es) involved followed by the state of respiration measured in the presence of glutamate + malate (CI<sub>LEAK</sub>), +ADP (CI<sub>OXPHOS</sub>), +succinate (CII<sub>OXPHOS</sub>), +FCCP (CI + II<sub>ETS</sub>), +rotenone (CII<sub>ETS</sub>). Antimycin A was used to correct for residual O<sub>2</sub> consumption.
