<i>Guazuma ulmifolia</i> Lam. Decreases Oxidative Stress in Blood Cells and Prevents Doxorubicin-Induced Cardiotoxicity

<div>Cellular antioxidant activity. Inhibition of intracellular ROS production in K562 erythroleukemia cells incubated with DCFH-DA for 1 h, subsequently treated with quercetin or GUEsb (3.12, 6.25, 12.5, and 25 <i>μ</i>g·mL<sup>−1</sup>) and immediately exposed to hydrogen peroxide (H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub> 500 <i>μ</i>M).
