DUOX1 Silencing in Mammary Cell Alters the Response to Genotoxic Stress

<div>DUOX1 expression is downregulated in breast cancer cell lines and tissues. DUOX1 mRNA levels were evaluated by quantitative RT-PCR in breast cancer cell lines (a) and in paired cancerous and adjacent breast tissue samples (b). Data are expressed as fold change relative to MCF12A for breast cancer cell line comparison and relative to the respective control to breast tissue samples.
