Protective Effects of <i>Lycium barbarum</i> Extracts on UVB-Induced Damage in Human Retinal Pigment Epithelial Cells Accompanied by Attenuating ROS and DNA Damage

<div>Pretreatment with <i>L. barbarum</i> extracts rescues UVB-induced apoptosis of retinal pigment epithelial cells. (a) ARPE-19 cell was pretreated with vehicle control or <i>L. barbarum</i> extracts LBA and LBE for 2 hr, respectively, prior to the irradiation of 50 mJ/cm<sup>2</sup> UVB.
