Inflammatory mediator levels in peritoneal lavage samples obtained from TRPC5+/+ and TRPC5−/− mice intraperitoneally (i.p.) injected with lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and pretreated subcutaneously with either vehicle (PBS; ) or bacterial thioredoxin (Trx; 20 μg/150 μl, twice a day, for 3 days, ).
