Photobiomodulation Leads to Reduced Oxidative Stress in Rats Submitted to High-Intensity Resistive Exercise

Protein expression of (a) superoxide dismutase (SOD), (b) catalase (CAT), and (c) 70 kilo Dalton heat shock protein (HSP70) in gastrocnemius muscle in control rats (Ctr), rats that only underwent a resistance exercise session (RE), and rats that were subjected to 4J LLLT irradiations prior to a resistance exercise session (4J). Data are representative of samples collected instantly and 24 h after exercise. Kruskal-Wallis and post hoc Dunn’s tests were used for multiple comparisons.
