Age-Dependent Protective Effect of Selenium against UVA Irradiation in Primary Human Keratinocytes and the Associated DNA Repair Signature

<div>Impact of aging on DNA BER capacities of keratinocytes. Using the ODN biochip, cellular extracts of young or old keratinocytes were tested for their excision activities for (a) Tg-A, THF-A, U-G, U-A, and EthA-T and (b) 8oxoG-C and A-8oxoG.
