Omega-9 Oleic Acid, the Main Compound of Olive Oil, Mitigates Inflammation during Experimental Sepsis

<div>Omega-9 decreased cortisol levels in septic mouse plasma. Animals were treated with omega-9 for 14 days. On the 15<sup>th</sup> day, CLP was performed, and 24 h after, the plasma was collected for the quantification corticosterone.
