Urinary Mitochondrial DNA Identifies Renal Dysfunction and Mitochondrial Damage in Sepsis-Induced Acute Kidney Injury

<div>Urinary mitochondrial DNA (UmtDNA) levels are increased and correlated with renal injury following cecal ligation and puncture (CLP). Rats underwent sham surgery and CLP, and rats were placed in metabolic cages after CLP for urine collection.
