Protective Effect of Rosamultin against H2O2-Induced Oxidative Stress and Apoptosis in H9c2 Cardiomyocytes

Figure 11

The effect of rosamultin on the PI3/Akt signaling pathway in H2O2-treated H9c2 cells. Cells were precultured in the presence or absence of 40 μM LY294002, a specific inhibitor of PI3K, and incubated with or without rosamultin for 24 h; after that, cells were stimulated further with 200 μM H2O2 for an additional 3 h. (a) Effect of rosamultin on H2O2-induced cell damage in the presence and absence of a PI3K inhibitor. Cell vitality was measured by MTT assay. (b) Representative Western blots. (c) pAkt protein expression. (d) Caspase-3 protein expression. Data are mean ± S.E.M. (). versus the control group, versus the model group, versus the model group, and versus the rosamultin pretreatment group.
