ANT reduce H2O2-induced interleukin-6 (IL-6) expression in RDFs. (a) RDFs were treated with different doses of ANT for 2 h and then exposed to 0.3 mM H2O2 for 10 h. IL-6 mRNA levels were quantified by RT-qPCR. The relative levels of mRNA were normalized against GAPDH from the same cDNA preparation. (b) RDFs were exposed to 0.3 mM H2O2 for 24 h after a 2 h ANT pretreatment. The amount of IL-6 protein released into the cell culture supernatant following H2O2 treatment was measured by ELISA. The control values were arbitrarily set to 100%; all other samples are presented as percentage of control. Values are presented as the of three independent experiments. , , and .
