Sample description and experimental design. (1) Sample characteristics and the division of the experimental groups of the treadmill physical training and ethanol (EtOH) or distilled water (H2Od) administration; (2) after four weeks (28 days), accomplishment of the behavioral assays: object recognition test and Morris water maze; (3A) after euthanasia, blood plasma collection for oxidative balance analyses through Trolox Equivalent Antioxidant Capacity (TEAC), Reduced Glutathione [14], and Thiobarbituric Acid Reactive Substances (TBARS); (3B) also, hippocampus collection for oxidative balance analyses through TEAC, GSH, Lipid Peroxidation (LPO), and nitrite levels (Nitrite).
