Dihydrocaffeic Acid Prevents UVB-Induced Oxidative Stress Leading to the Inhibition of Apoptosis and MMP-1 Expression via p38 Signaling Pathway

<div>DHCA reduces UVB-induced ROS. L929 cells were treated with 35 <i>μ</i>M DHCA or 1 mM NAC for 1 h, irradiated with UVB (600 mJ/cm<sup>2</sup>), and immediately after irradiation, intracellular ROS (a) and extracellular H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub> (b) production were evaluated by H<sub>2</sub>DCFDA and Amplex Red kit assay, respectively.
