DHCA attenuates UVB-induced lipid peroxidation and loss of Δψ_m. L929 cells were treated with 35 μM DHCA or 1 mM NAC for 1 h and irradiated with UVB (600 mJ/cm²). After 24 h, cells were stained with DPPP or Rh 123 to evaluate lipid peroxidation and Δψ_m by fluorimetry (a, c) and fluorescence microscopy (b, d), respectively.
