Dihydrocaffeic Acid Prevents UVB-Induced Oxidative Stress Leading to the Inhibition of Apoptosis and MMP-1 Expression via p38 Signaling Pathway

DHCA attenuates UVB-induced lipid peroxidation and loss of Δψm. L929 cells were treated with 35 μM DHCA or 1 mM NAC for 1 h and irradiated with UVB (600 mJ/cm2). After 24 h, cells were stained with DPPP or Rh 123 to evaluate lipid peroxidation and Δψm by fluorimetry (a, c) and fluorescence microscopy (b, d), respectively.
