Peroxiredoxin III Protects Tumor Suppressor PTEN from Oxidation by 15-Hydroperoxy-eicosatetraenoic Acid

Effects of 15s-HpETE on the redox state of PTEN in C2C12, HeLa, and HT22 cells. The cells were treated with 10 μM 15s-HpETE for the indicated times. Cellular protein extracts were then alkylated with 10 mM NEM and subjected to nonreducing or reducing SDS-PAGE, followed by Western blot analysis using antibodies to PTEN.
