Associations of carotid IMT are positive with uric acid (a), malondialdehyde (MDA) (b), and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) (c) using Pearson’s correlation test, and with metabolic syndrome (Met-S) scores (d) using one-way ANOVA analysis.
