Protective Effects of Kaempferol on D-Ribose-Induced Mesangial Cell Injury

The protective effect of kaempferol in D-ribose-induced apoptosis may be related to the autophagy. (a) Mesangial cells were exposed to D-ribose for 48 h with or without the treatment of kaempferol (5 μM). Western blot was used to investigate the protein expression of LC3, p62, and beclin1. , relative to the control group; and , relative to the D-ribose group.
