Decreased Nuclear Ascorbate Accumulation Accompanied with Altered Genomic Methylation Pattern in Fibroblasts from Arterial Tortuosity Syndrome Patients

<div>Gene region-specific cytosine modifications in peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma gene using DNA immunoprecipitation enrichment. DNA immunoprecipitation was combined with quantitative PCR amplification (Q-MeDIP: (a), Q-hMeDIP: (b)) to analyse region-specific cytosine modifications in the selected gene region. The relative enrichment of the bound fractions of fibroblast DNA samples was compared to a control dermis tissue DNA sample.
