Effects of lithium on tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) protein levels (a) and concentration of dopamine (DA) (b) in the hippocampus of animals exposed to CRS. The values are of 10 rats. Statistical significance: animals exposed to CRS+Li vs. CRS animals (-test). The level of TH protein was expressed in arbitrary units normalized in relation to β-actin, and the concentration of DA was expressed as ng per gram of tissue (ng/g).
