DEX inhibited protein synthesis, CSE expression and the mTOR/p70S6K signalling pathway. Myoblasts were incubated with different doses of DEX (0, 0.1, 1, or 10 μM) for 6 h. All cells were then incubated with puromycin (10 μM) for 30 min to measure the protein synthesis rates. Cell lysates were immunoblotted with specific antibodies.
