H₂S stimulated protein synthesis in chicken myoblasts. Myoblasts were incubated with or without NaHS (500 μM). Cells were simultaneously treated with or without DEX (10 μM) for 6 h. (a) The concentration of H₂S in culture media supplemented with NaHS at different times (10, 30, 60 min, or 6 h). (b) Protein synthesis was measured with an antibody against puromycin. (c) CSE and CBS levels were detected by immunoblotting using CSE and CBS antibodies.
