Influence of the preincubation time of the H2S/SeO32− mixture on the time-dependent reduction of cPTIO. The reduction of cPTIO (100 μmol L−1) once added into the preincubated H2S/SeO32− mixture (100/50 in μmol L−1, (a, b); 100/100 in μmol L−1 (c, d)) was evaluated as the decrease of absorbance at 358 nm minus 420 nm (a, c) and the decrease of absorbance at 560 nm (b, d), respectively. The preincubation time of the H2S/SeO32− mixture was 0-40 min (see legend). (e) Impact of the preincubation time of the H2S/SeO32− mixture on the reduction of cPTIO. cPTIO (100 μM) was added into preincubated H2S/SeO32− (in μmol L−1, 100/100, circles; 100/50, triangles; 100/25, diamonds) at pH 7.4, 37°C. Data represent the reduction of cPTIO in 1st minute after addition of cPTIO.
