IMCA Induces Ferroptosis Mediated by SLC7A11 through the AMPK/mTOR Pathway in Colorectal Cancer

IMCA inhibited the mTOR/P70S6K activity through phosphorylating AMPK. DLD-1 (a) and HCT116 (b) cells were treated with 50 μM IMCA for 48 h, and the protein expression was assessed by Western blot. The intensities of the p-AMPK, p-mTOR, and p-P70S6K bands were quantified by densitometry analyses and normalized by the amount of AMPK, mTOR, and P70S6K in DLD-1 (c) and HCT116 (d) cells, respectively (). , , and compared with the control group.
