Aβ1-42 oligomers and H2O2 decrease cell viability. Human neuroblastoma cells were treated with increasing concentrations of (a) Aβ1-42 oligomers or (d) H2O2 for 24 h. Cell survival was measured by MTT reduction. Data are of 4 independent experiments performed in triplicate. , vs. control by one-way ANOVA using Tukey’s posttest. Images of cells with the MTT reduced to blue formazan were taken after 24 h of treatment with (b) Aβ1-42 oligomers or (e) H2O2. Bars represent 20 μm.
