Anticancer Activity of a Novel High Phenolic Sorghum Bran in Human Colon Cancer Cells
Effect of high phenolic sorghum bran extract on in vitro metastatic activity of multiple human colon cancer cell lines. (a–c) HCT15, SW480, and HCT116 cells were treated with 0, 1.25, and 2.5 mg/ml of high phenolic sorghum bran extract (HP) for indicated time and cell migration (left) and invasion (right) were measured using a wound healing assay and Matrigel, respectively. (d–f) HCT15, SW480, and HCT116 cells were treated with 0, 1.25, and 2.5 mg/ml of HP for 18 h, and western blot was performed to measure expression of indicated proteins. Values are (). indicates significant differences at (between treatment and control).
