New Synthetic 3-Benzoyl-5-Hydroxy-2H-Chromen-2-One (LM-031) Inhibits Polyglutamine Aggregation and Promotes Neurite Outgrowth through Enhancement of CREB, NRF2, and Reduction of AMPKα in SCA17 Cell Models

Expression of CREB, NRF2, and AMPKα following LM-031 or licochalcone A administration on TBP/Q79-GFP-expressing SH-SY5Y cells. On day 2, differentiated SH-SY5Y cells were pretreated with 100 nM LM-031 or licochalcone A for 8 h and TBP/Q79-GFP expression was induced for 6 days. Relative CREB, pCREB, BCL2, GADD45B, BAX, NRF2, and AMPKα and pAMPKα protein levels were analysed by immunoblot using β-actin or GAPDH as a loading control ().
